Top Yachts in the World

Yachts are often portrayed as wealth and status symbols. More than just appearance, some yachts are hugely valuable due to the terrific features they have, such as helipads, concert halls, and even theaters.

If you’re a yachts enthusiast and wonder what the top yacht in the world is, here we leave you a list of the most expensive yachts worldwide.

History Supreme (Val. $4.8 Billion)

History Supreme

Robert Knox, also known as the richest man in Malaysia, owns the History Supreme. This yacht is made of solid gold, and it has been cataloged as the world’s most luxurious and expensive yacht in the world.

This yacht’s construction lasted more than three years: Stuart Hughes, a luxury designer based in the UK. During the construction, the constructers used over 10,000 KG of solid gold to build the yacht, as was ordered. The other most prominent material is platinum. These precious metals adorn different spots, including the base (as you can notice), deck, and even the anchor.

However, those parts aren’t the most extravagant features of this yacht. The master bedroom would make anyone fall in love with it instantly. Its construction materials include meteorite rock. This room also includes a highly expensive statue made from Tyrannosaurus Rex bones –and yes, they are genuine.

The master suite is adorned with an Aquavista Panoramic Wall Aquarium, which was also built with gold. There is a decorative bottle that contains a rare 18.5-carat diamond within the spectacular aquarium.

Eclipse (Val. $1.5 Billion)

Top Yachts in the World Eclipse

Roman Abramovich, a Russian billionaire, owns the Eclipse. It is the second-largest yacht worldwide and has some features you wouldn’t think a yacht would have. Terence Disdale designed the yacht, while Blohm and Voss of Germany constructed it. It includes a pair of helipads.

The Eclipse also has a disco hall, a pair of swimming pools, and even hot tubs. It may not have as many features as the History Supreme, but it provides full protection to its owner thanks to the intruder and missile detection systems. It also has an “anti-paparazzi” shield, which uses sweeping lasers around the areas.

It has a longitude of 533 feet and includes a mini-submarine meant to be used up to fifty meters underwater.

The master bedroom contains armor plating and bulletproof windows, features that the bridge also contains. Even if it’s not made of gold like the largest yacht in the world, it has nothing to envy from the History Supreme.
